1. Introduction

MyUni respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. This Copyright & DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) Policy explains how we respond to claims of copyright infringement and outlines the procedures for reporting such claims.

2. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied and uploaded to MyUni in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Designated Copyright Agent with a written notification containing the following information:

3. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that the material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our Designated Copyright Agent. A counter-notification must include the following:

1. Your physical or electronic signature
2. Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before it was removed or disabled
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, or if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which MyUni may be found
6. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of that person

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action seeking a court order against you within 10-14 business days, we may restore the removed material.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

MyUni takes copyright infringement seriously. In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.

We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to our services and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

5. User Responsibilities

When you upload content to MyUni, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the content or have the necessary rights to upload and share it
• The content does not infringe any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
• You have obtained all necessary permissions from copyright holders, if applicable
• Your notes are your original work or properly attributed to the original source

Users who upload copyrighted material without authorization may have their accounts terminated and may be subject to legal liability.

6. Educational Use and Fair Use

MyUni is an educational platform designed to facilitate learning and knowledge sharing among university students. • All uploaded notes undergo admin review before being made publicly available
• We maintain a team of moderators who review flagged content
• Users can report suspected copyright violations through our reporting system

• Clearly cite the original source

MyUni is designed for sharing personal study notes, summaries, and original educational content - not for distributing copyrighted published materials.
